An agency’s search for their future workforce is a fundamental criterion to find the right people to serve and protect the community and property. The importance of securing prospective employees during an agency’s pre-employment selection process cannot be overstated. SAPPS understands the integrity and truthfulness of a public safety or private security employee is a special concern for the respective agency, given their trusted position and the invaluable functions of their work. As a SAPPS client, employers will have access to our pre-employment polygraph screening booklet, which contains a collection of background information including, but not limited to:

Through uncovering prospective employees’ history, SAPPS is able to mitigate the risk of hiring unsuitable individuals and reduce employee turnover. SAPPS will work with the hiring company to modify any specific areas of concern to satisfy the needs of the organization.

In the current competitive hiring market, it is imperative for existing employees to not rest on their laurels. There needs to be a continued focus on areas of improvement within their current roles. Periodic employee testing not only causes existing staff to strive for the opportunity of upward mobility within the workplace, it also diminishes complacency. Public safety ensured by security agencies is paramount. In support, SAPPS will administer periodic employee testing for existing employees whom have applied for new positions within their department. By using an unbiased third-party, the firm will be able to alleviate the concerns of the staff member, and maintain a harmonious work place. Detailed reports explicating relevant hiring information for all of SAPPS’ employment examinations will be diligently completed within a 24 hour period.

All of our seasoned examiners are licensed and insured in the Commonwealth of Virginia and conduct all polygraph examinations according to strict standards and methods as approved by the American Polygraph Association. Moreover, we will meet the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation criteria to practice polygraph in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our clients will benefit from SAPPS examiners’ solid and practical work experience and ensure future hires and re-confirm existing staff.
